The Request a Quote (RFQ) function is a critical component of the purchasing process that improves the user experience, gives you a highly closable sales lead, and increases completeness and accuracy of the quotation you provide to them. If you are not using the RFQ feature, here are some good reasons to be using it with a few best-practice suggestions.
When a customer submits an RFQ on your web site, they are confirming their need for your product. Their selection goes into an RFQ cart which functions much like an ecommerce shopping cart. Multiple products can be added to the cart which shows all the products that have been added and includes a place to add comments before submitting the request.
